This is actually an early ale advertisement! The original words are:
Banbury Ale! Where, where, where? At the blacksmith's house. Would I were there!
Due to low numbers, when we break into four parts, two of the parts will be done by Lauren and Ron. I'll have real sheet music for the adults so you won't have to worry about remembering when to come in. Here's the order:
We will sing at Communion and will gather on the stairs.
Kids and some women (which women depends on the numbers): first verse
Men and the rest of the women: second verse.
For both rounds, we'll sing both verses twice.
We'll figure out which women will be in W1 and W2 on the spot.
Two-Part Round: Kids+W1 start, W2+M come in at "3"
Four-Part Round: sing both verses two times Kids+W1 start, Lauren at "2", W2+M come in at "3", Ron at "4"
